Central Library
The collegeβs Central Library, located at 8A Shibnarayan Das Lane, serves students with air-conditioned reading rooms, 27,946 books,
6 newspapers, 41 journals, 1,95,000 e-books,
6,239 e-journals, and access to the INFLIBNET N-LIST Consortium. It features a large stack room, Web OPAC with QR code integration, a search kiosk, and the KOHA Library Management System.
Additionally, most departments have their own Seminar libraries for subject-specific resources.
Seminar Library
Aside from the primary Central Library, the college possesses a seminar library with a spacious surface of 968.13 square feet in its main building. This collection is designed to cater primarily to the humanities faculty & students which offers an extensive selection of around aprx.5000 books. In addition, there are seven departmental workstations that come fully equipped with essential furnishings, as well as network computers linked to the internet and equipped with printers. Borrowing reference materials from the departmental seminar libraries is a feasible option for both educators and pupils, for a brief duration.
